With MiFund you can get the treatment you need today and pay overtime via easy direct debits. Our plans include low or no deposits, affordable terms and a simple and quick application process.

MiFund is the preferred provider of patient finance for BOQ Specialist clients and provides payment plans for national organisations like Bupa / Dental Corp, Primary Dental, Attune and Greencross Vets.

MiPlan – A simple payment plan with No Interest!

MiPlan is an interest free payment plan between $500 and $10,000 for terms up to 26 months. A deposit is payable to your practice and will vary between 10% – 25% of the treatment cost. The only fees you are charged are an establishment fee of between $45 to $150 (depending on your loan amount and applicable term) which is added to your plan and a payment processing fee of $2.75 for each time you make a repayment. There are no early repayment fees payable.

 

MiLoan Interest Free – A 12 month Interest Free period on a 36 month plan 

MiLoan Interest Free offers you a payment plan for amounts between $2,000 and $30,000 for terms of 36 months. There is no requirement to pay a deposit at participating practices. MiLoan Interest Free does not charge any interest during the initial 12 month period. After this initial period, a low fixed interest rate applies for the remaining two years, please read our full product disclosure prior to entering into an agreement with MiFund. The only fees you are charged are an establishment fee of between $125 to $225, which is added to your plan amount and a $7.95 monthly account keeping fee, whilst your account is active. There are no early repayment fees payable.

 

MiLoan – A low fixed interest rate for amounts up to $30,000

MiLoan offers customers a payment plan for amounts between $400 and $30,000 for terms from 13, 24 or 36 months. There is no requirement to pay a deposit to your practice, as we will finance the full treatment cost. Of course if you only want to finance a portion of the treatment cost, you can pay the practice the difference and apply for a lower amount. A low fixed interest rate applies for the full three year term. The only fees you are charged are an establishment fee of between $65 and $225 (dependent on your loan amount and applicable term), which is added to your plan amount and a $7.95 monthly account keeping fee, whilst your account is active. There are no early repayment fees payable.

Patients

Ask your practioner or medical specialist if they offer MiFund, if not contact MiFund or 1300 700 118.

 

Once you know what your treatment cost will be, you will be able to get a repayment quote from your practice. They will let you know how much deposit is payable to the practice (if applicable), your plan amount (including fees), repayment term and the amount of future direct debits. If you are comfortable with the repayment amount, the practice will then send to you an SMS link so you can apply for a payment plan directly with MiFund. This link is unique to you. Your private information is only provided to us as the lender, not your practice. The online application takes a few minutes to complete on your phone, computer or tablet. We will require some additional information from you and will provide you with options for sending this to us.

 

Can I be pre-approved before arranging treatments?

You may also want to be pre-approved for a payment plan before you visit your practice. If so, give us a call on 1300 700 118 and we can provide you with a quote and will send out a MiFund Application Link, for you to complete an application. The final payment plan amount must be equal or less than the treatment plan provided by your practice; will be matched to the products available at the registered practice that completes the treatment; and will be dependent on your personal credit standing and assessed capacity to make the repayments.

MiFund works with or without private health insurance. MiFund can help you pay for the whole gap or just the part your health insurance won’t cover. Whatever the gap, MiFund has a product to suit, so that you can get the treatment now and pay over time.

This will depend on the MiFund payment plan provided by your Practioner. Generally MiFund payment plans provide Zero or Low Deposit requirements, however with all plans you can choose to pay more than the minimum deposit requirement to further tailer a payment plan to your needs.

MiFund payment plans are generally direct debited fortnightly as for budgeting purposes this matches most customer’s normal pay periods. However you will be advised if a monthly direct debit option is available on the specific payment plan you have been offered.  In the event that you would like to change your direct debit payment frequency, after you have commenced your MiFund payment plan all you need to do is ring us on 1300 700 118 to request changes to your direct debit amount, frequency and dates of collection.

Not at all. This means that you can pay off as much of your plan, as you want, at any time. Give us a call on 1300 700 118 if you want to make additional repayments at any stage.

Simply fill in the easy registration form located on the practice page of the MiFund website. Alternatively, you can phone 1300 700 118 and speak to the MiFund team directly.

It’s really easy and only take a couple of minutes. You are provided with logins and passwords for your Practice Portal after you have been registered and trained. This MiFund portal allows you to provide quotes to new patients and enables you to send a MiFund Application Link immediately to their mobile phone, so that they can complete their application online, without you needing to be involved. Conditional approval can happen in as little as a few minutes. This can even happen whilst they are in the waiting room. We need to verify and validate the information provided by your patient in their application, to ensure we are meeting our responsible lending obligations. So approval times do vary based on information provided by the customer. However we work with your customer to ensure that both your customer and your expected timeframes are met.

Practices are generally paid between next day and 7 business days depending on the type of treatment and MiFund product offered. All MiFund products ensure payments for approved treatments are guaranteed to the Practice.

You will receive training on our systems; an on boarding kit including marketing support; product brochures; newsletters; and other relevant information to assist with embedding a MiFund Payment Plan in your practice.
